GroundUP is looking for an energetic, well-organized, and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support are business operations as well as analyzing key metrics and trends, and company performance. This position will assist us in driving more efficient and effective decision making to help GroundUP reach its aggressive long term goals.  This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

We are a close-knit collective of founders, investors and developers.  We advise, invest in and build revolutionary software products and companies.  Ultimately, we are looking for someone who inspires those around them and is accountable.  Please read below, and if this sounds like we are describing you then we would love to chat.  

Responsibilities:

• Analyze company performance, understand and communicate key drivers and variances in order to make recommendations to executive team.

• Lead preparation of rolling monthly forecast, annual budget, and long range planning

• Deliver financial and operational metrics to support data-driven decision-making process

• Ad-hoc financial analysis

• Prepare presentations and supporting analysis

Qualifications:

• Self-starter who takes initiative to help improve current financial reporting and identify important metrics

• Excellent communication skills; will interact extensively with senior management and key members of the team

• Deal effectively with every changing priorities and an evolving business model

• Big Plus for CPA

• 1-3 years in an analytical role

• Experience in a startup

• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Analytics tools
